K + N
I recently had the honour of photographing Kate and Nick's wedding this past November in Saskatoon. After meeting these two for their engagement session earlier in the year out at Cranberry Flats, I knew they were going to be a ton of fun to work with on their wedding day.
Their ceremony took place at Saskatoon Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, reflecting their deep faith. Kate had one particular moment she wanted captured, and after a conversation with the priest, he graciously allowed me to document it despite initial restrictions. This thoughtful gesture highlighted the importance of their love and the meaningfulness of their ceremony.
Post-ceremony, we headed to President Murray Park. With its large, stunning evergreens, the park provided a perfect backdrop for their wedding photos. November weddings in Saskatoon often mean snowy scenes, but we lucked out with a fall vibe instead. Despite the cold, Kate and Nick were absolute champs, braving the chilly weather for some fantastic shots. Their wedding party was a blast, and we had a ton of fun capturing those moments.
Next, we made our way to the University of Saskatchewan campus. Kate had her heart set on some classy photos on the old stairwells, and these turned out to be some of my favoruites from the day. The historic architecture added an elegant touch to their portraits, perfectly complementing their timeless love. Although I didn’t stay late into the night, I cherished every moment of their wedding. Witnessing their young love was a beautiful experience, full of joy. I am deeply honoured to have been part of their special day and wish Kate and Nick many years of love and adventure!
