This is not an educational workshop. It's not a weekend packed with back-to-back lessons, timelines, or expectations. Yes, we'll create. There will be beautifully styled shoots, opportunities to photograph and explore creatively. But there will also be something photographers rarely give themselves enough of: intentional downtime.
We'll spend time swimming, hiking, relaxing, journaling, vision boarding, sharing conversations around the fire, and simply being present. Some moments will be guided, while others will be left completely open for rest, reflection, or whatever you need most.
This retreat isn't about improving your business, growing your social media following, or learning the latest photography technique. It's about stepping away from the noise, reconnecting with yourself, and remembering why you fell in love with photography in the first place. Come as you are. Leave rested, inspired, and recharged.

In May 2024, Camp Focus brought together a small group of photographers who showed up as strangers and left as Pals.
It was chilly.
It was imperfect.
It was one of the most creatively energizing weekends I’ve been part of.

This creative retreat is designed as an intentional step away from the noise, pace, and constant "Plugged-in" way we live. Enjoy an off-grid experience, inviting you into a slower, more grounded rhythm for the weekend. The cabin is equipped with modern conveniences in a "roughing it" fashion. If you’re looking for a luxury, fully serviced stay, this is not for you, and that’s okay! But if you’re craving something quieter, more intentional, and creatively energizing, you’ll feel right at home here. It's not about going without. it’s about creating space to unplug, slow down, bond with others, reconnect with yourself, and create something beautiful.

Communal Space
Each camper will have their own private bed in a shared space. Base sheets are provided, but please bring a blanket/sleeping bag and pillow for your own comfort.

Between the common areas inside, and the abundance of room on the 10 acre land, there is lots of space to relax and socialize.
