Megan and Eddie were supposed to be married earlier in the year like so many other couples of 2020. After their wedding date had past, they decided not to wait any longer, and to just get married, whatever the circumstances of the world would be! Megan just also happens to be one of my best friends, so when she called me up and asked if I had plans in November (which I didn't, because you know, 2020), I was beyond excited and happy for them!

They were married on a warm and sunny November day in the quaint village of Cadillac, Saskatchewan. I arrived in town after a drive across the beautiful prairie landscape, and began my day documenting Meg and Eddie get ready for the most important day they've had thus far as a couple. Megan actually got ready in the town library, which to me felt beyond perfect. Books are Megan's other true love in this world.

The ceremony was held in this little picturesque Catholic church. The very same one Megan's parents were wed in. In accordance with all restrictions, it was a small ceremony, attended by only their immediate family. The love in that church was so big though. I feel so honoured to have been there for it.

We snapped a few photos in locations important to the couple. Out at the Lacelle family farm, and in the Husky gas station. As the evening wore on the wind picked up, but this trooper couple still obliged me by doing a few more photos!

Thank you so much for having me there. It meant so much to me. As with all my wedding couples it is an honour to witness their vows, but during a pandemic, and especially when it's your friends, it just squeezes me in the feels a little extra. Love you guys!
