For this intimate wedding, I headed out to Pike Lake, just outside of Saskatoon. I hadn't been to Pike Lake since I was about 12 years old, and was happy to go back to spend the day with this beautiful couple as they celebrated their wedding! The wedding was being held at the bride's parents lakefront cabin, and suited the day so perfectly. The cabin atmosphere was so happy when I arrived! Hair and makeup were just finishing up, and we did a first look with the girls, and then again with the bride's dad. Both resulted in humungous smiles, and a few happy tears.
Shortly after, an intimate ceremony was held in the backyard, and Nicole and Rylan were married in the presence of their closest family and friends. The vows they wrote were so heartfelt, and it was almost like listening to two versions of the same love story; both equally beautiful. Being able to witness this special day with them was so amazing. We took a short walk through the park to a secluded little stretch, where we did some formal photos. The couple was able to spend some "alone time" - plus the paparazzi of course. Before leaving, they offered me a donut, and obviously I could not pass that up! I left with a happy heart and a delicious donut. Thanks again for having me on your wedding day!
