If you've gotten this far, I'm sure already have seen my face or know a bit about me. But just in case you haven't, I'm Nicole, a small town Saskatchewan gal! Although I was born and raised on the prairies I have a wandering soul. I have travelled to 14 countries, so I am happy to take this one woman show on the road, if you're up for an adventure wedding or elopement!
I AM SUPER PASSIONATE about capturing authentic moments between you + your loved ones. I'm all about the in-between moments – the ones where you are being you, the moments I couldn't possibly plan for! My photography philosophy is centred on keeping things simple – focus on capturing the connections between people + in beautiful light! At every wedding, I work hard to capture a mixture of portraiture + real moments throughout the day. I want to document those beautiful moments that tell your story. I want the photos you are left with after the vows are shared + the dances danced, to always bring you right back to that love + magic that immediately reconnects you + your partner.

Photography is more than just something to check off on your to do list of wedding things.
You might not see it right now, when you're lining up a venue, thinking about centrepieces, sorting out bridesmaid dresses - but your wedding photos are one of the only things that lasts past the wedding day.
The number one thing I hear from couples who didn't book with the photographer they wanted or the package they wanted, is how much they regret it. Your photos are something that increase in value over time. After the dances have been danced + the champagne has been popped you can still look at those photos + freeze those fleeting moments forever. Not too sure how long you'll need a wedding photographer? That's ok! I have compiled a list of events that often happen on wedding days, and how long they typically take to photograph to help you plan which package might suit your needs best!
Details (rings, invites, dress, etc) - 30 Minutes
Getting Ready - 1 - 1.5 Hours (30-40 minutes with each partner and their respective parties)
First Look - As long as you'd like! I've had 15 minute to 1 hour first looks with my couples.
Ceremony - Varies. I have shot 10 minute ceremonies, and 1 hour ceremonies!
Family Portraits - 30 minutes
Wedding Party Portraits - 30 Minutes
Couple Portraits - 1 Hour (minimum)
Reception - Speeches (usually take an hour)
- From Supper to First Dance is usually 2-3 Hours

To me, engagement sessions are valuable + I believe it is important to find a photographer you share similar values with. Engagement sessions give us a chance to get to know each other on a day before you know, you're a bit busy, GETTING MARRIED! There is time to talk, build trust and understand how I go about doing my job! For this reason engagement sessions are complimentary with every wedding package and cannot be removed or substituted.
