Megan and Eddie are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I may be slightly biased, as Megan is one of my best friends. When we both had the opportunity to get together in Iceland, we knew there was no other option but to do some photos while we were there. After a day of adventuring on the south coast, we met up at Reynisfjara, the world-famous black-sand beach just beside the small village of Vík í Mýrdal. With its enormous basalt stacks, roaring Atlantic waves and stunning panoramas, Reynisfjara is truly a sight to behold. It was one of the main reasons I wanted to go to Iceland. We walked along the beach, and after timing it just right so as not to get swept out to sea with the ocean, scooted around a bend in the cliff wall, to find a complete secluded spot on the beach. The tide was coming in for the evening, so we cautiously kept our eye on the ocean as we took a few shots in what I think is one of the most magical places I have ever been to.

During the session we did a fake engagement shot as a joke. Eddie and Meg have been together for quite some time, and I think they're end game for sure ;) A couple of weeks after the trip, Eddie did propose, not with the little black rock from the beach, but a beautiful engagement ring! I couldn't be happier for them, and am already salivating over photographing their wedding in 2021!
